Angarth or Wygarth
Angarth or Wygarth? (by Dr James Lattin) explores these two small towns on the Scottish border, which form the focus of the collection at the Museum of Imaginative Knowledge. In this new survey, Dr James Lattin explores the cultural topography of the Western Borderlands, focusing on both objects such as the world’s largest one pence piece collection and locations such as decaying country house Judley Hall. In so doing, the Museum fills the much-neglected gap between the so-called “folk” and “high” arts, and brings to the attention of public audiences a variety of objects and information not yet considered museum-worthy by mainstream institutions.
